D Train - Bedford Park Blvd. (Day 2, stop #63)

Out:  For some reason, this neighborhood looks kind of Mexican/South American.  There is a granite/stone wall with colorful graffiti, perhaps put there by some type of church group.  Bedford Park Blvd. has an underpass for some of the traffic to avoid crossing Grand Concourse.  The neighborhood looks pretty calm around here, with some white people interspersed among Hispanics.  There is not much commercial activity.  The residential buildings are pretty much all 6 story tenements.

In:  Layout similar to Tremont Ave., with green tile stripe on the walls.  The white tiles here are quite dirty.  There are signs directing people toward the Botanical Gardens to the east of the station.
