Out: There are more gentrifiers here; definitely getting to border with UES. Besides that there is a mix of black and Hispanic. “El Barrio” grocery is nearby, but the name can’t fool everyone; you can tell the white people are coming. I walked down to 96 St.
In: The tiling here is older-looking and brownish, more a 70’s-style interior. The station is also dirtier and more dimly lit. There is some artwork made up of ceramic tile in a frame.
