A Train - Howard Beach-JFK (Day 4, stop #163)

Out: The neighborhood around here looks nice and quaint, at the corner of 59 St. and Coleman Pl.

The neighborhood seems mostly white, and mostly residential with small houses and a small commercial strip right by the train stop.  I stop by the pizza place for slice, which is located right next to “The Rail Bar & Grill”.  Definitely pretty calm and residential-feeling over here.

In: Maybe the most up-to-date, modern subway stop in the system (or at least that I’ve seen so far).  The station is all constructed of glass and steel, with a skyway cutting over the subway tracks to connect to the AirTrain.

There are a both escalators and elevators to accommodate people heading to the airport.
