In: In general, looks identical to Shepherd Ave. One thing I notice is that here on the middle columns , between the tracks, there are old, dirty station signs and warning placards that look to be from a different era but never removed. There is also plenty of graffiti on the track partitions.

C Train - Van Siclen (Day 4, stop #174)
Out: There are some very different houses on each side of this intersection, along with some more shops. There is more West Indian presence here, too, as well as some Hispanic. The corner looks pretty decent overall. This part of Pitkin Ave. has more stores, and there are also a couple of 70’s-style boxy apartment buildings ~10 stories tall.
