3 Train - 148 St.-Lenox Terminal (Day 3, stop #148)

Out: Lenox Ave. is nice and wide here, so it feels welcoming, but there is not much else besides some tenements, high-rise low-income style apartments, a car wash, and a deli.  North on Lenox I can see a bridge to the Bronx.

In: To approach Lenox Terminal, the train goes outdoors briefly.  It then ends up above ground, but in a large open area housing a number of 3 trains that has a roof over the entire structure.  The overall enclosure is large, has lots of concrete, and many other tracks as part of the yard.  There is no cleaning crew here, and just one platform.  Definitely different from any other station I’ve seen so far.
