2 Train - Pelham Parkway (Day 3, 8:50 a.m., stop #105)

Out:  At corner of White Plains Rd.  It’s raining so much that it’s like a flood zone.  This makes it pretty difficult to walk around and see anything.  At this point Pelham Parkway is quite wide, and the station just barely spans it.  There is some commercial activity, but nothing too exciting.  On the platform the crowd seems quite ethnically mixed, with black, white, asian, and Hispanic, but too little foot traffic outside to tell if this representative of the neighborhood.

In:  The station is under renovation, with blue paneling everywhere covering the construction; this obstructs any view from the platform.  Interestingly, the awning spans the entire platform, which is unusual, but this also means there is no open mesh to see off the side anywhere.
