1 Train - Rector St. (Day 1, stop #41)

Out:  Here we are in the heart of lower Manhattan, with large, labyrinthine office buildings and narrow streets.

The sun is almost completely blocked out by these huge skyscrapers; I feel very towered-over here.  On the street are mostly businesspeople leaving work and heading home, as it’s around 5:15 p.m. now.   For the tourists I suppose they have these guides in funny uniforms...

Again they are of all races and here they are of all ages, from the 20’s on up.

In:  The station here is in good shape, with green/pink/blue tiling and tiled floors with bright lighting.  Green metal columns by plat edge.  The layout is again 2 plat, 4 track with express bypass.  No one is in the car with me after leaving Rector St., so I shot a photo.
