1 Train - 181 St. (Day 1, stop #2)

Out: Here fairly early in morning (~7:30 a.m.), some stores around & some activity, but mostly kind of dirty. Just a few blocks from my apartment, this intersection is unsurprisingly still predominantly Dominican, with commuters waiting for the bus & going to the train.

In: Two platforms facing each other, far underground. Need to take elevators to exit up to St. Nicholas and 181 St. White tiling and mosaics with station name.

Tiled columns close to platform.Station is in decent condition, but lighting kind of dim. Need to take bridge over tracks to Need to walk underground to mezzanine to access elevator bank. Also a couple of retail stores in the station entrance, but closed at this time.
