6 Train - Elder Ave. (Day 3, stop #137)

Out: There is a little more variety here than the typical array of downscale stores, but not too much more. There is definitely quite a bit of activity on the street. There is a Chase Bank in a historic-looking building. On Elder Ave. there is a long row of 2-story brick houses, each of which has an unattractive plastic awning in red and blue. There is also a large number of 5/6-story tenements here. The population seems mostly black with some Hispanic.

In: The paint in some parts of the station looks better than St. Lawrence Ave., but not a ton better.
