2 Train - Burke Ave. (Day 3, 10:19 a.m., stop #112)

Out: There is definitely less West Indian feel here, and much more of a Hispanic presence.  There are plenty of restaurants advertising Hispanic & American food.  The “Burger Bar & Restaurant” sits on the corner.  The general construction is mostly 2-3 story houses as well as small businesses.  This intersection feels a little desolate.  Saw an out-of-place Chinese family trying to get their keys out of a locked Acura, with help from some random guy on the street.

In: The station is mostly clean, with stained glass of a Bronx streetscape in multi-color.  There is some graffiti on the track spacers.
